Every teen experiences stress and worry occasionally, but persistent anxiety can begin to interfere with school, friendships, sleep, family relationships, and daily life. If your teen seems constantly worried, overwhelmed, withdrawn, irritable, or no longer enjoys activities they once loved, therapy may help identify what's going on and provide support.

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you hope will be different. There is no pressure to share everything right away—we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. By the end of the session, we'll have a better understanding of your goals and discuss what the next steps might look like.

Over time, people tend to feel less overwhelmed and able to manage their anxious or self-critical thoughts.

Yes. Depression can make even simple tasks feel exhausting and leave you feeling disconnected from the people and activities you once enjoyed.
